Jacob Marks
The Band Eden started as an acoustic duo in 2014 by two high school friends; Jacob Marks, and Peter Soenksen. About a year after the duo started, they wanted to start moving into a new direction and added drummer Tyler Schultz, and Bassist Louie Dresback in the summer of 2015. They grew from an acoustic duo into an alternative rock band. In the fall of 2016 Peter, the front man of the group, informed the band that he would be leaving, in order to start his family. With Jacob, Louie, and Tyler looking for a new direction they moved towards the hard rock sound that we've come to love from The Band Eden.
Jacob is the only remaining original member left in the band, and as such has been instrumental in the transformation of the band, he actually being the one who invited both Louie and TJ to join the band back in 2015. Jacob recently received his diploma of Recording and Live Sound from Madison Media Institute, but he has been recording and producing since all the way back in 2014. Originally a drummer, Jacob looked to broaden his horizons by picking up a guitar at the age of 16 and he hasn't looked back since.
Tyler Schultz
Tyler "TJ" Schultz hails from the small town of Brillion WI. He has been the band's drummer and screamer since 2015 but he has been friends with Jacob since early 2013. The two have had many musical experiences with each other, Tyler was actually the first person that Jacob had ever recorded. Music has always taken up a large part of TJ's life, spending almost all of his time around or playing musical instruments. He gains inspiration from bands like Remedy drive, Red, and Memphis May Fire.
Louie Dresback
Formerly from Colorado Springs, John "Louie" Dresback now currently resides in Oshkosh WI. Louie took up the Mantle of Musician in 2007 when he started playing bass for his high school jazz band. He continued to craft his trade by keeping busy with helping lead worship at the church he attends. Harboring immense work ethic and talent, Louie was recruited for The Band Eden in the summer of 2015.
